How do I find my number

I’ve just purchased and recieved a new mobile phone, and id mobile sim card and monthly plan.

 

Unfortunately I’ve not been able to register my sim card as I do not have the mobile number for this sim card and I’ve not recieved any emails confirming my order and welcoming me to id mobile. I’ve checked my junk folder as well, and they are not there either.

 

There could be the possibility of me putting in my email incorrectely when I ordered through the Carphone Warehouse website, as the only confirmation of the order came through a text message on my other phone.

 

Any help would be mostly appreciated

Hello @johpaul26,

Your SIM card should already be active.

If you pop the SIM into the phone you can text or call a friend or family to get the number.

Have you tried this?

 

The SIM card packet the SIM came in should also have the number.

Unfortunately the number didn't come with the sim package.

The phone says it can only make emergency calls. 

I've also checked the network coverage and it said it was ok and tried connecting to the id network manually, the phone recognises the id network but it said that it was unable to connect it.
