I have received my replacement sim card and have activated it but it does not work in my phone. could you advise?

If you had previously marked the SIM as lost then a suspension might still be in play on the account.
We’ve sent you a private message from our side though to take a look at that and lift that if that’s the case.
Simply click on your profile icon in the top right, then go to your private messages.
