Replacement sim card activated not working

Hi,

 

I have received my replacement sim card and have activated it but it does not work in my phone. could you advise?

Hi there @scollorec2 

If you had previously marked the SIM as lost then a suspension might still be in play on the account.

We’ve sent you a private message from our side though to take a look at that and lift that if that’s the case.

Simply click on your profile icon in the top right, then go to your private messages.

Do you get network coverage.

What error you get.

Try to search network manually.

Nope don’t get network coverage and instead of the usual “Bars” I get a  “Forbidden” icon

Forbidden icon you mean circle and line within it.

You are not getting network at one place or every where.

Restart mobile and search network manually.

Correct “circle with line in it”. Have restarted my phone and get “Error while searching for networks” when I try to search the network manually. I’ve also check the network coverage and 100% covered where I am

I use offer pay as you go but I lost my sim card.
I have an account on ID mobile.
I can not activate a replacement new sim card I see this communicate .
I go step by step and with window when put new card 19-digit number
after when I put correct brand new card  I see comunicate:

you’ve entered a SIM card number for a SIM thats already active . If this keeps  happening check FAQ

I use two no used before card please help me . 
I have to back my number is for me really important.

It sounds like you’ve got a new SIM card which is already active.

Did you order a brand new contract instead? As the way this sounds, it does appear so.

A replacement SIM is sent out by customer services and is blank, thus can be activated onto your old account.

Can you please give me a number to talk to someone? I have tried online help and this format is very slow. I need the phone to work immediately. I have waited 24hrs for SIM activation and it still doesn't work.
