"Sorry, your user name or password wasn't quite right. Please try again" error message. Anyone else living this absolute nightmare

New user, have tried again and again yet machine says "Sorry, your user name or password wasn't quite right. Please try again" error message. What is the solution as I have seen this a few times on this forum.

Okay @VM12, if I was in your position I’d try contacting iD customer service privately by using iD online live chat, or Facebook Messenger, or Twitter DM. 

The support teams work until 8pm weekdays.

Hey @VM12,

Have you registered for an account?

Note that the Community account is separate to the iD Self-care account so have their own logins.
