Messages not sending

Good morning

 

My partner is having problems with sending text messages. I am sending this on her behalf.

 

We both have Samsung s20's 4g. Mine is working fine.

We have followed everything on here to correct the issue. However I downloaded the MMS settings and it is asking for a PIN number to download the settings. What is this PIN number. She has an ID pin number but this does not work?

 

Any help would be appreciated. We both had terrible problems getting our phones working correctly and the helpline and chat bot are an absolute joke. Never had these kind of problems with any other network. Starting to regret the switch. Not sure how you got a Which recommendation at the moment.

Can someone sort this please?

Hi @Nuttyred1,

 

Did your partner port a new number into us? If so, what does My Number setting show? if it says unknow, please ask that your partner follow the instructions below to set her number:

 

1. From the Home screen touch Apps.

 

2. Touch Contacts (you may need to swipe left or right to locate it first).

 

3. Touch the ME entry (you may need to scroll down to locate it first). If this entry is blank you'll need to touch and hold on it instead and then select Edit.

 

4. Touch the pencil icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

 

5. Touch the drop-down box below Phone and select 'Mobile'.

 

6. Enter your phone's number in the empty field next to it.

 

7. Touch Save in the top-right corner of the screen.

 

Please let us know how the messages function after performing this.
