I recently got a new phone that is the Huawei p40 lite and my sim card doesn't seem to be working on the phone but when I inserted it back onto my old phone the Samsung A5, it works perfectly fine. What is the issue?

There's no message or anything, it's jus emergency calls and I can't go out or in but when I put the sim card back to my old phone it works perfectly fine
