Nearly 24 hrs, without a reply. Couple of live chats proplem not sorted. Tried sim in another phone and it works spot on

If you’re still having issues. It might be worth trying the following:
- Turn off your phone, take out the SIM.
- Turn on the phone (without a SIM inserted, and leave it on for 4-5 mins).
- Turn the phone off, re-insert SIM.
- Turn back on.
That can often refresh your phone into doing a check on the active phone number on that SIM. Works a treat for many a situation like what you described.

Just downloaded another text messaging app and changed it from the stock issued message app. Had no problems since then
