Water damaged phone

My sons phone has been damaged by water after a very wet camping trip, we have tried the bag of rice but it is totally dead! How do I go about getting a replacement phone?

Hi @KATIEHORTON46,

I’m sorry to hear about that! Unfortunately liquid damage is not covered by a manufacturers warranty so a phone repair would be chargeable if it can be repaired at all; most liquid damage can render a repair useless you see.

Have you got a home/phone insurance policy that covers the device?
