My SIM card is not working and they are saying that I’m getting a new one but I’ve never requested a new sim
Saying that it will be active in 24hrs but does that mean I’m getting a new sim and new number?

This is shown when you activate a replacement SIM or new SIM via the app/account.
Can you confirm if you ever recently upgraded your contract?
If you don’t have a different SIM the only way to fix it is issuing a replacement SIM.
