I returned a contract back to CPW yesterday under 14DMB as the phone was faulty. 
i had ported my number over last week and advised the Rep in store it’s imperative I keep my number. He disconnected the contract and transferred to PAYG with the same SIM & on his screen it gave the option for ‘does customer require a PAC’ so he chose yes & said we would recieve this via text. 
The sim now only accepts incoming calls and texts but can’t make any outgoing calls or texts as we get an error message each time. Can’t connect to customer service either. 
We have tried to text PAC to the required number but again nothing is working. It’s now been over 23 hours & the sim shows as iD on the screen with signal but still no outgoing. 
 

Anyone else had this issue? 
We need to keep the mobile number as it’s been ours for over 20 years.
