Account issues

Hi,

Both me and my husband have an ID mobile account that we opened for our children when they were too young to have an account. One is now 16 and the other is now 19 and we would like to move the accounts over to their names, but still pay the bill.

Is this possible?

We ask as we both need to purchase a new phone due to our company phones not being available to use personally anymore, so will need an account each for ourselves.

Thanks

No, you cannot change the named account holder…

You’re 16 year old won’t be allowed a pay monthly account until they turn 18 (subject to passing a credit check) and your 19 year old will have to apply for a whole new contract, port out their existing number to another network and port it back in to their new iD mobile account if they want to keep their old number.

Hi @Syoung76

The above from @WelshPaul is correct, we unfortunately wouldn’t be able to transfer ownership of an account, only provide a PAC code to the account holder which they may give to someone else if they wish.
