Hi, my situation is as follows: It is Friday afternoon. I have received my SIM today. I wish to activate my SIM today, I have a PAC code and I am in the UK. My understanding is that it takes one working day before my SIM is activated, this would be Monday. I will however by that time be in France, and I will be there for an extended period of time. Will my SIM activate while I am in France?

If you joined iD and received a new iD SIM for your iD plan, the SIM is already activated and ready to use
You can transfer your number to iD anytime you like, but the iD SIM card needs to be in the UK to pick-up the number you want to keep, after it has been transferred to iD Mobile.
