cant access help page

Unfortunately @Haggispie, it happens when you try and access the main iD website while you’re signed-in with your iD community account. 

  • Perhaps sign-out of your iD community account, before you visit the main iD website.
  • Open the main iD website https://www.idmobile.co.uk is a different web browser.
  • Open the main iD website https://www.idmobile.co.uk using an incognito, or private tab in your web browser.

 Not great, especially given iD are aware of this issue, yet don’t seem to be fixing the issue.

That URL works on my Windows laptop and iPhone @Haggispie.

What device and web browser are you using?

You can also contact iD customer service using Facebook Messenger.
The agents work until 8pm on weekdays.

Okay, then I see perhaps two options to try @Haggispie:

  1. Close all your tabs in Safari, and then type in “https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat”.
  2. Otherwise, open a Private tab in Safari, then type in “https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

I just tried option 2, accepted all the cookies, then scrolled down until I saw the live chat blue button.

I WAITED a minute or two, and then clicked the blue button - live chat loaded.

That message can only happen if you have not signed-out of your iD Community account in your Safari browser @Haggispie.

Open the iD Community in your browser and then LOG OUT.

Okay @Haggispie, I can use live chat from a Private tab in Safari, when I type in “https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat” - if I’m not logged in to the iD Community.

One other issue might be if you used “Remember Me” when you signed-in to the iD Community. 

You might need to log out then login again, and make sure “Remember Me” is NOT ticked.

Great - unfortunately, using iD live chat can be a bit of a faff. 

It seems easier to use Facebook Messenger to talk privately to iD customer service.
