I inserted my sim into a new phone 5 days ago and it’s still not activating. I can’t register on the app as unable to receive a code since my phone number is not working! Nightmare scenario! I cannot believe how difficult it is to just get a sim to work and get some help doing so. Meanwhile paying bills for nothing.

Was this a new SIM card from an order or a replacement SIM card?
A new SIM card should be active from dispatch, a replacement SIM card would need to be activated via the iD Mobile app.
