Hi. I'm in Costa Rica and cannot send texts anywhere, and recieving them is iffy too. I have iD roaming and international calling turned on in the app and in my phone settings. Every text comes back with Error 38. I have removed the SIM card and reinserted it, turned phone off and on etc but no luck. Doesn't help that the iD app is frequently too busy to access either. I need text to keep in touch at home and for my safety here.
I can log into local free WiFi networks ( but can't send or receive emails), and can use whatsapp ok.
Any ideas?
