Data not working after payment

Paid my phone bill, around £37! The money was taken from my bank and my id account says that this months bill is paid off, this was around an hour ago and yet my data is still not working, when i attempt to make phone calls to my own contacts I get an automated message from id claiming that I am calling the helpline??? Very confused, I have tried live chat however I think it may be currently down. Any advice?

Welcome to the Community!

Once you make a payment it can take 2-24 hours for the account to become active again.

On some occasions you may need to restart the handset for it to take affect.

If you are still having issues please let us know.
