I have recently changed my plan and my account shows I am in credit but just received an email showing the amount due on my bill is incorrect. Which means if taken on the payment date I will be further in credit. How does the direct debit work when your in credit.

Hi @Thewigancasino,

Welcome to the Community!

When you are in credit the credit will be used towards your bill and reduce the amount we take from your direct debit.

For example if you are in £2 credit and your bill is £30 we would only take £28 for the direct debit.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for info Kash, it answers the question in part.

The email I received states the amount due is £32.98. but on my bill history it is showing -£17.78 which means ID Mobile actually owe me the money not the other way round. So I assume that now my normal bill is £7 per month ID Mobile will use the credit to cover the cost of my bills over the next couple of months or so to use up the credit.

Hi @Thewigancasino

Correct, if there’s a credit any bills would take away from that credit before going to direct debit for further payment.
