I have found a new ID Mobile SIM card that I received a few years ago. I cannot remember why I requested another the SIM, perhaps they were free at the time. My current SIM is working fine. Can I the give this new SIM to a friend?

You can give it to whom ever you like but it won't do anything. If you are an iD Mobile customer then hold onto it! If you lose or break your current SIM you can login and activate the old SIM against your account and you will be back up and running there and then.
