My new Google pixel won't stay connected to WiFi networks stating IP Configuration Error. This is the same on 2 different networks. All other devices are connected fine. Is my phone faulty? If I can't use it on WiFi I'm still within the 30 day cooling off period so I'll probably just cancel and go else where.

That sounds like a faulty handsetÂ
Check the warranty status online at https://support.google.com/store/answer/6160400?hl=en.
Otherwise get a returns authorisation from iD, and cancel in your cooling off period.
