I cancelled my account yesterday but didn’t get email confirmation which I asked for. I tried the online chat but it is now saying my security information is incorrect.

There’s 30-days notice needed in order to cancel an iD account
I guess if 30-days haven’t passed since giving notice, it’s possible the email hasn’t been sent yet.
If live chat is proving difficult, you can also get assistance by talking to iD customer support using Facebook Messenger, or by Twitter DM.
The agents work until 8pm on weekdays.
