If switching, do I need to cancel?

I’ve just ordered a new SIM from SMARTY and given them my PAC code.  Will my contract with ID be automatically cancelled when it switches or do I need to manually cancel it?  Wil I need to cancel my DD?  Thanks for reading.

Hi @Hebrews12,

Welcome to the Community!

When a PAC code is used and the port is complete the number disconnects with the old network.

Once your number moves to the new network your contract with us will be cancelled automatically.

We would advise leaving the direct debit active so that you can cover the final bill once it becomes due.
