iPhone 14 Activation & Confirmation Code

Hi 

Just put new sim in my new iPhone 14 and it’s asking for an activation code and confirmation code, any idea where I can find this. It also says it’s wants to scan a QR code but I haven’t received anything from iD mobile. 

 

Any idea where I can find these or do I contact ID?

iD Mobile does not support/offer eSIM @Phil82.

I have an actual sim card though which I have put in the phone, does this mean the phone is not reading it or it has not been activated?

What you describe in your initial post is the eSIM setup menu. You just pop the SIM inside the iPhone and that is (or should be) that. It is possible that the SIM card is faulty.

Where did you get the iPhone?

Could be a fault with the handset or the SIM...

Try a SIM replacement. Hopefully that will resolve the issue.

It sounds like the iPhone has tried to convert the SIM card into an eSIM, which as @WelshPaul suggests we don’t support.

 

Are you able to try the SIM card in another device to see if the SIM works there?

 

Or possibly wipe the device’s network settings to see if this helps?
