Is it possible to switch network on and off when needed

Hello, I pay the bill for my sons account. Is it possible I can switch his network/services on and off when needed. At the push of a button and resume again easily when needed without having to completely disconnect the account and lose his number?

Thanks Carry

@Cattess76,

Unfortunately we don’t have an enable and disable button for services.

However you can look for third party apps which may be able to help with this.

I think I created a new account by accident, oh dear, annoying. Same person anyway :-)

i wish there was a way I could stop services on another phone i pay the bill for. That would be a great feature for parents. Homework time kid, phone is going OFF. like it or not !!

Take note ID we need this feature.

took me 3 looks to figure out there was an extra t 🤣

@Catess76,

There are definitely third-party apps you can get that provide this.

At a network level, we don’t offer this feature, I don’t think any UK network does but I stand to be corrected.

If you google for “Parent control apps”

A few apps recommended by PC Mags: https://uk.pcmag.com/parental-control-monitoring/79219/the-best-parental-control-apps-for-your-phone

They will also allow more options such as limiting adult content, monitoring keystrokes (if you wanted to) as well as setting time limits.
