When I was with smarty mobile I could send my daughter photos through text but since joining iD mobile it won’t let me and I keep getting Message not sent service not activated on network. So can someone tell me how to sort this as I don’t have the option for only send sms and mms messages.
Hey
This is likely because your daugther has not got RCS messages setup on her end possibly.
RCS messages get sent in Dark blue (at least on my phone) and light blue for standard SMS.
Colour options may vary.

Hi
Welcome to the Community!
What make and model handset are you using?
Are you referring to iMessage or RCS messaging?
Kash
Nokia 5.4 and Nokia G11. When I send a text to my missus it shows RCS message and it allows me to send a picture but when I text my daughter it doesn’t say how the message is being sent and it doesn’t allow me to send a picture.
It’s free to send a MMS on SMARTY, iD Mobile charge to send MMS.
You will need to raise your spend cap on your iD Mobile account and ensure that you have the correct APN settings on your device.
I’ve set my spend cap to £0 but I can send my missus pictures through text.
Because you’re not sending an mms, it will be an RCS or iMessage. MMS is sent when one party has RCS disabled or iMessage isn’t possible.
