Monthly payment increased in mid contract.

Hi there,

My monthly payment increased by 17.7% in mid contract.

There are no options or advice is available, unable to downgrade or switch to a cheaper package but to pay more. Early exit fee does not a reasonable option.

Ofcom is looking into this currently and not all the mobile network providers are behaving the same but IDmobile (on Three).

Can IDMobile provide copy of the agreement or contract that I 'agreed'?

Thanks

Arun

The new increased price (without any form of precondutation or agreement) makes the remaining contract and the service less useful or less valuable in some significant degree

Hi @Arun Sutharshan

RPI/CPI rates are agreed to in the terms and conditions of any iD Mobile contract, I’d recommend taking a look at all of the posted terms and conditions in the link below;

So there is a small print in my contract I have agreed to pay any increase in the monthly contract agreement due to current climate change? My bills are going up by about £2 a month. Is there a limit to how much an increase could be and am I bound by the contract to oblige?

Hi @Fwmgaok,

You can view the links below regarding RPI and CPI.

Alternatively you can view your contract for further information on RPI and CPI.
