However, if I sign up for a new pay monthly plan and then I go abroad on a one way flight and think I will probably be galivanting for 3 months or so what will realistically happen? Will I no longer be able to use my minutes etc after a certain period? Will I be okay? What if I go to a country not included in roaming and I buy a local sim and use for a few weeks? Will this still be classed as “permanent roaming”?
If you use your phone more than you do at home (UK) over a 4 month period we would take the actions outlined in the policy.

If the country isn’t included you would be charged to use iD Mobile services abroad and you are welcome to purchase a local SIM if you wish to do so.
