Hi, I have recently switched to ID Mobile but I am unable to get 5G on my compatible device (iPhone 13 mini) in Cardiff. I have been able to get 5G on other providers with the same phone so I know that 5G definitely works for my device. I have tried restarting the device and reinserting the SIM but nothing seems to work.

Don’t know postcode of your location in Cardiff, but postcode for Cardiff Castle has following network status @abinash:-

I have used the Network Checker for my home postcode and it says that 3G/4G/5G is available in my area however I still cannot get 5G at home

The network checker shows the theoretical coverage predicted for a given location based, on computer models.

The network status shows if the network has a problem or fault.

Hi @abinash,

Welcome to the Community!

The coverage checker will show if 5G is available indoors or outdoors also.

If you could please check what @andewhite has advised and get back to us, we can look further into this for you.

After using the Three link you sent, I received the same “We’re fixing an issue” message for my home postcode. My iPhone is on 5G Auto.

Hi @abinash

It may be worth switching to 4G to see if this helps, we’d also recommend keeping an eye on the outage checker to see if there are any future updates.

Let us know how you get on.
