no network service for few hours now!


Hi did any one have issue with network?

Can't receive or send sms and call or receive phone call!

Restart my phone many time.  Still no service.

Can you please try the SIM in a different handset and check if the SIM works?

Is it a new SIM for a new deal or replacement SIM? 

We may need to get a new SIM sent out to you so please let us know how you get on.

At home it is only showing "emergency call only"

When i go out to town, I have signal. But very low.

It all just happen on the 8th March. Working fine for last year or so!

There’s no historical information at the network status checker link - does everything work now @Kevsun?

 

Still no service and when I go out the house I sometime get a signal but is very weak.

Sounds like you might live in an area with poor to limited coverage, or the mobile network topology has changed recently.

Bear in mind that online coverage checkers are based on computer models, which rely on many assumptions. This means predicted coverage at any given location could be different to the actual coverage at the given location.

I live in a mobile not-spot, and rely on using my home Wi-Fi network, with mobile provider’s Wi-Fi Calling service. Away from home the network signal is usually okay.

I try to enable Wi-Fi calling on my phone using: *#*#46368676#*#*

But I am unable to turn it on, it is grey out.

Could you let us know the postcode for the area(s) you’re having issues in?

 

Did these issues begin first on March 8th? Was signal fine before this?

Yes still having issue, no signal or only emergency call signal at home and very poor signal outside.
