Number not porting

Bought the iphone Monday, gave giffgaff PAC code Monday evening. I was told my number would be ported today 27/07/2023. I have spoken with customer service twice, one told me to wait till 6pm , the other till tomorrow morning. Ported not recognised when I try and register the mobile app. My ported number shows when I call people, but people calling me say ‘number not recognised’. No correspondence from ID to say port is complete. Number in my contacts showing as my ported number.

 

Please could someone help.

You need to be patient as it can take until 10pm for the port to complete.

Nope still not working. Seen a lot of thread with issues like this.

I wouldn’t mess around with any account related features until the day after the port, as it’s possible that doing so can cause issues with the port itself or the online account. It’s rare but can happen.

Is the GiffGaff SIM still active? It’s possible it will complete come the morning. It should be done by now but I have read posts where it took until the next day to fix itself. Not good I know!

Yeah the giffgaff sim cut off yesterday afternoon. Problem hasn’t fixed this morning.
