old number transfer

I’ve tried reusing my old phone number - entered all the data about a dozen times - told it’s incorrect!!!!

walking around with 2 phones not sure which on works or does what. Going round in circles on this forum. Login…taken somewhere …need to register or login again? What the hell is going on??? As best I can see there is no one in customer services available to help and we are left stranded on some online desert island to try and help each other survive!!! Would it be easier to just scrap my contract???!!!! It’s beyond a joke.
