PAC code not working when trying to port number error message received

Number not transferring- I have tried to transfer my old number to my new iD mobile by entering the PAC code given to me by Vodafone using both the iD mobile online form 3 days ago and the app however I keep receiving a “you entered a wrong PAC code or mobile number” error message. Vodafone have confirmed the PAC code is correct. Can someone please advise as this is supposed to be a straight forward process!
