payment not processed - money taken and refunded immediately

Hi,

I have an overdue bill of £7.98 and have tried to pay it multiple times. As soon as the payment is taken from my bank account it is immediately refunded and I get a message saying that the payment cannot be processed. 
ID mobile are saying they’re going to close my account if payment is not received.

Perhaps double-check that all the addresses in your iD account online are the same as the address your bank uses for your bank account.

 

Nothing has changed regarding my banking :/

Are you attempting to pay via the iD Mobile app/website while logged in getting that error?

 

Have you tried the manual payment line on 0333 003 0001 as an alternative?

Hi Tom,

Yes I’ve been trying from the app and online. I’m currently living in Aus and only using the sim to keep the number so unable to call.

Yep, I’ve tried a few English accounts and nothing will work.

Hi @Jayshree JB,

We would advise checking the iD Mobile app to check which address shows on there.

The address would need to match the one that your bank account has.

If the address is correct, please let us know what error you get and we can PM you if required.
