Why are my family receiving emails saying payments are due; payments have always been made by DD without problems. And why can I not talk to anyone at ID

You’ve probably been affected by a significant problem iD had with their systems, namely:
“We're aware of an issue where some customers have been sent an outstanding balance notification in error. This has resulted in an increase in customers trying to access the iD Mobile app which is then adding quite a bit of load to the system.”
Apparently, another email will soon be sent out apologising and explaining this was an iD error. There’s further information here.
