porting has gone all to pot

Hi, I ported over my old number. Now I call and receive on my old number, I send and receive texts on both my old and new id number. So I receive on ported number, reply and it sends with id number (confusing recipient) but I then get reply regardless of what number they reply to

The issue is either down to Chat Featues or iMessage.
