Arrived in kos on 27th Sept, had a message from id saying you can use your phone plan as uk with no charge. On the 1st October was charged for using phone, saying am out of eu .this can't be right, luckily it only went to the cap of 5 pounds. Any idea why am charged. Thanks dan

Hey Dan, this could happen if your phone connected to a marine based mobile network on a ship or ferry.

Alternatively, perhaps you connected to a Turkish network instead because of the location or weather conditions at the time of the incident.

The usual iD roaming partners in Greece are Wind Hellas and Cosmote.

Thanks for that, was not on a ferry. Just took it I could use phone  as uk. That's what id said when I landed on kos
