Can I use my mobile in Israel to call or message the UK?

Yes you can - the iD roaming partners in Israel are Orange and Pelephone. Extra costs as follows:

Hi @davidlawson, yes, you can, but you’ll be charged out-of-plan rates as Israel isn’t an inclusive roaming destination.
