I was on the phone to my bank when the call suddenly ended with it saying “service does not allow access to this number” it was a free number to call so was not premium 

I need this matter resolved

Hey @Mysticmike87, you’ll probably need to use online iD live chat and talk to customer service for assistance with this issue.

The online iD agents work until 8pm on weekdays.

Is the number a chargeable one? If so you may have reached your capped limit mid-call, could you let us know the number of the bank you were on a call with at the time?

 

Are you able to make other calls just fine?

The number is a 0333 number which equivalent to a landline I have a £5 cap on my line and that hasn’t been used either

Is is indeed an inclusive number.

Are you in the UK or roaming?

Can you ring 01 and 02 numbers fine?

What about other mobiles, can you just test for us?

Hello yes I’m in the UK 

I have tried other uk mobile numbers and they work fine as well

I tried today and it still hangs up after around 5 minutes

So it does call but then disconnects after 5 rings?

Does this happen to other 0333 numbers?

Try calling 0333 003 0001 and also 0333 0003 7777

I have exactly the same problem when I call in to Vodafone numbers and  keep disconnecting other calls after few minutes
