I have just moved to sim only deal and thought you just carried on with existing sim but have now received a new sim in post do I have to change it over and how do I get my existing information from my old sim on to my new oneĀ

OkayĀ @Mick Osborne, if youā€™ve changed or upgraded to another iD plan, while you were logged in to your My Account online (or iD app), you can carry on using your ā€˜oldā€™ SIM with your handset - if it fits the handset.

iD Mobile only sendĀ a ā€˜newā€™ SIM, when upgrade, in case your ā€˜oldā€™ SIM doesnā€™t fit the handset you intend to use with your ā€˜newā€™ iD plan.

The ā€˜newā€™ SIM you received isnā€™t active - soĀ keep it safe just in case.

As long as youā€™ve processed an upgrade and the old SIM is still usable, Iā€™d recommend using the old SIM and keeping the new one as a spare!

If you for any reason want to use the new SIM youā€™ll be able to activate it on the iD Mobile App!
