Hi, can anyone help me please; 

 

I have recently upgraded my phone (01.04.21) and I got my number transferred over from EE to iD which I was advised was successful on Friday. Since Thursday I have been unable to send text messages without them failing on my phone. 
 

I have signal and therefore coverage and my partner ends up receiving about 4 texts from me but my phone says it failed to send. Where as my mum doesn’t receive anything. I can send iMessage and WhatsApp. 
 

I have restarted the phone and I took the sim out on Friday and put it back in but I am at a loss for ideas now.

HI @Rutheliz 

Please can you try the following: 

1)    Turn off iMessage (Settings > Messages)
2)    Restart your phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
3)    Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct. 
4)    If it is not correct, please enter the correct number
5)    Turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)
6)    Finally, go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under “Start new conversations from:”. 
 

Once done, please can you try sending a message to see if this works.
