transferring old number between 2 id sim cards

Hi

I’ve just come to the end of my contract with ID and I’ve bought a new mobile phone and pay monthly ID sim. Is it possible to transfer the old number over to the new sim?

  If not would it be possible to keep the old sim, end the contract and move over to pay monthly?

  Would the old sim still be up to speed for 5g?

Had you upgraded your original iD plan, or have you taken out a brand new iD contract?
