My existing two year phone contract runs out on 22nd Nov 2022 and I have upgraded to a SIM only contract. The SIM card has arrived but the onlen advice is not to put it in the phone if staying with ID and just upgrading/changing contract. My payment (larger amount of old contract) is due tomorrow. When I log in it states that my pan is the old plan (£33:99 per month) and doesn't mention the cheaper SIM only deal I’ve just changed to. Will the larger payment go out of my account tomorrow? Do I need to do anything further to avoid being charged for the old contract rather than the new and cheaper SIM only?

Okay
You must be signed-in to your My iD Account online (or the iD app) to upgrade or change your iD plan.
If you can’t see your new (upgrade) plan details from your iD account, you might’ve bought a new plan instead of upgrading. Â
