Using my SIM in a different handset

me and my daughter both have a samsung mobile with id

when it was time for my upgrade last year i thought it would be nice of me to let my daughter have a new phone early and i would have a new phone when it was time for her upgrade 

so i put her sim into my new phone which didnt work so i put my sim back into the phone

now my daughter is used to using my phone and her upgrade is due can i  put my sim into her new phone and her sim into my phone which is the one she uses

so in effect swapping phones ??

i pay both bills

Hi @Steven Crompton,

Yes, that’s fine to do. You can use the SIM in any unlocked handset it doesn’t need to be the handset that came with the contract.
