I'm thinking of joining iD mobile as they have some good deals but I have a few questions I'm hoping someone can help with.
I was told on ID live chat that if my phone has 4g calling capabilities it will work. However looking online that doesn't seem to necessarily be the case. I've also found 2 lists on here with the phones 4g/Wifi works with, my phone is on one here https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/approved-handsets but not the other I found in a community thread. I can get 4g & WiFi calling on EE and want to keep this. I have a Motorola G82,it was bought sim free.
Because of the above and that I've never been on the 3 network before I'd probably try a 1 month sim and then cancel it after the 30 days if I had issues. if I do this would I be able to port my number across at a later date if I continued with the sim rather than straight away? Also is a credit check done for the 1 month ones, I'd pass ok but not sure if I then cancelled it and took another one out elsewhere if it wouldn't look good.
