my phone was dropped in a pool and subsequently won't turn on or work at all. Taken it to one repair shop who said they can't do anything. Can I just get another phone and use my ID sim in it? Does ID want the phone back at the end of my contract?? I'm still paying my monthly cost but don't know wether I can just keep using the sim in an unlocked phone. If anyone can tell me what will happen in regards to my contract or if I will be charged for damage, I'd really appreciate it thanks.

Hi Amelia, devastated to hear that your phone is damaged. As long as your SIM is ok, you are able to use this in any compatible phone.
The phone included in your contract is yours to keep so it doesn't need to be returned and you will not be charged for the damage, you'll just need to continue to make the payments for the agreed term. You can upgrade with us when you reach the end of your contract to get a new phone. - Phil
