Please can someone advise me? My daughter is changing from an iPhone 6s to an iPhone 6s Plus. Can someone please walk me through the steps to activate the new handset? Do we just put the sim into the new handset? I'm not at all tech savvy, so no technobabble, please; the 'for dummies' veesion will be just fine. 😊 Thanks!

Hi @Ginabaron,

If the handset is unlocked you can simply remove the SIM and insert it into the new handset.

Hi.

Thanks for your help. We have put the sim in the new phone and all was well... Just that she can't get mobile data! She can only connect via Wi-Fi.  Can you help us with this, please?

Have you got roaming and mobile data enabled on the handset? Have you checked the iD Mobile App to see how much data you have left for the month?
