what is cheapest way to use roaming on a cruise in ASIA

I am going for a two week cruise in Thailand and Indonesia and would like to contact home, I have unlimited roaming in the EU, but understand that this cannot be used in Asia, what is the best / cheapest way to do this

Welcome to the Community!

Unfortunately we can’t advise on local SIM cards as you would need to contact them directly.

However from what I know roaming at sea can become very expensive so it’s hard to advice as this is likely to be the same with other network providers including those in Thailand and Indonesia.
