Hi, this may be a silly question, but I am going to start the process of changing my number to iD Mobile, but just wanted to see what I do on the day the number transfers?
I currently have an EE sim card in my phone, but on the day of transfer, do I keep my EE sim card in my phone until it stops working, and then put the new iD Mobile sim in to my phone, and theoretically it will then be using my old number?

Hi Helen. I transferred to Id this week. Yes keep your EE sim in your phone until It loses service then put in your Id sim. You will get signal straight away but it will be the temporary number you got when you joined ID. Then approx 3 to 6 hours later the full port will happen you’ll know this because you’ll get a text to your transferred number if that makes sense
