If I place an order for a new 24 month contract, is the sim activated, and the contract started when the sim is dispatched, when I first put it into my phone, or some other point please?
I would like the sim to activate and new contract to start, on the day my current contract with another provider runs out.

Okay
They’ll begin charging for your new iD contract from the date of dispatch.
I’m not sure you can accurately predict the date of dispatch, so it’s difficult to avoid some overlap between your old service provider account and your new iD contract.
