With no notification my monthly bill seems to have increased from £32.99 to 37.41. I am assuming that this has something to do with inflation but my issue is no one notified me of the increase or how much it would be

Probably because your handset contract has a CPI + 3.9% annual uplift clause, which is applied each April.

https://idmobile.co.uk/cpi or

https://idmobile.co.uk/rpi

Not sure it’s the CPI as I upgrade on the 6oct and on the ID website it says  “If you're on an iD plan purchased before 1st Nov 2022, your plan costs won't be affected by this years' CPI +3.9% fixed price adjustment.”

so it will be the ROI one but again it states that I will get an email confirming the increase but I did not get one ?!?!?

Your plan might have the RPI uplift clause.
It will be covered in your plan’s terms & conditions.
I don’t think the terms & conditions say anything about getting an email though.

Hi @Richardkaters,

Welcome to the Community!

Please check the links that @andewhite provided as this provides the information regarding the increase.

Alternatively please check your iD Mobile contract.

The monthly payment increases annually in April because it was included as a clause in the terms & conditions of the iD contract agreed at point of sale.

This April’s increase would be 13.4% (there’s more online at https://idmobile.co.uk/rpi).

Hey @Tanya Waterman as explaiend above, there has been a recent increase following the new RPI rates for 2023.

We sent a text to all customers notifying them of the increase and a link to the info.
