So , I cancel my Sim plan back in August yet I have an outstanding balance that needs to be paid for "September". How can I have an outstanding balance for a month that was AFTER I cancelled?

When you cancel, you provide 30-days notice.
This processes the cancellation in 30-days time.
Bills are produced as normal during this time.
Your final bill is produced after the disconnection has completed and then we will either:
- Bill remaining line rental that’s due and collect via Direct Debit 14-days later
- Provide a credit if you’ve overpaid.
