Today is the 1st. I get paid on the 2nd. My money that pays the monthly bill for my contract phone usually leaves my account on the 4th of the month however it has left today (1st), meaning I've had to borrow money to pay it as I had no money in the account. Why has the money left the account?

Hi @emmajohnson

Welcome to the iD Community, and sorry to hear about your recent billing issue.

Payment is taken on or around 14 days after your bill is issues, usually around 3 days after the 14th day depending on your bank.

When did your bill get issued? - You can check this on the iD Mobile App.

Did you know you can change your direct debit date to a date after the second of each month. You can do this in the iD Mobile app - here’s a guide on how to do it - https://www.idmobile.co.uk/directdebit

Thanks,

Nikhil
